[Scene: Manor. Foyer. Piper, Paige, Leo and Cole are standing there. Phoebe's passed out.]

Cole: Phoebe.

Piper: You stay where you are. You already caused enough trouble. (Piper and Paige carry Phoebe back into the parlor, put her on the couch and sit down. Leo and Cole follow them.) (to Cole) You stay away from her. I don't want to hear any any explanation, now. I don't even wanna know why you're here. Phoebe comes first. We have to see that she doesn't pass out again by seeing you.

(Phoebe wakes up and sees Cole.)

Phoebe: I thought it was just a bad dream. (to Cole) What are you doing here? How did you get out of limbo?

Cole: Well, let's say I had an ace in the hole...literally.

Piper: I thought you had come to terms with your fate.

Cole: And so I did. (He raises his hands.) I promise I won't cause any trouble for you.

Paige: Like hell you didn't!

Cole: I just want to stretch my legs in the normal world.

Piper: This is what you call normal?!

Leo: (to Cole) Why don't I trust you? You're probably up to something. You've had enough time to concoct something for the case you make it to come back.

Cole: Piper, trust me. I helped you and Leo finding back together. Remember one and a half year ago? And completely without ulterior motive, well no bad one. Doesn't that prove I'm one of the good guys again?

Paige: Wait, what ulterior motive?

Cole: I wanted Phoebe to believe in love again and I did.

Piper: That's what he wanted that time.

Phoebe: Wait, that wasn't you who made me do it, it was Drake.

Cole: And who introduced him to the sorcere and told him to do it?

Phoebe: The one who nearly killed him in the end. Great favor. But still I didn't need your help to find love again.

Cole: Right, you made  it on your own and I'm glad you did.

Phoebe: Really? So, it wasn't your intension inthe first place in coming back making me coming back to you for the how manyth time?

Cole: Do you always have to rub it in? Like I said I came to terms with my fate. I just want to enjoy to be with people again. Is this a crime nowadays? Just be pleased I'm happy.

Paige: Oh no, that's not the way things are going. How did you get out of limbo?

Cole: I already told you I had an ace in the hole. 

Piper: Some more precisely, please. Not that even more of your demon friends come back.

Cole: I don't think so because... (Suddenly Barbas flames in.) Oh...

Leo: Barbas...

Piper: No, Leo, don't!

Barbas: Ah, good to be here  again. (He sees Cole.) Ah, Belthazor, you're here, too. So, what's going on? Is this a welcome back party?

Paige: Like it was really that boring without you demons. Hardly. Waht are you doing here? We vanqished you... (Barbas shakes his head, smiling.) or just banished you to hell again?

Barbas: Bingo. I won the jackpot.

Paige: Huh?

Barbas: The others are on their way.

Piper: (emphatically) What's that supposed to mean?

Barbas: They'll be thrilled to be back and see you again. (He laughes and flames out.)

Phoebe: Okay. (She gets up and starts pacing around.) Please someone tell me that he was lying...

Piper: Could you stop that, please? I'm nervous enough.

Phoebe: ...That he just came back because it's friday the thirteenth. Like he alwasy does on that particular day. And that Cole's only an exception.

Cole: Hello, standing over here.

Piper: You should know better, Phoebe.

Phoebe: So, every single demon or whatever we banished to hell or whereever comes back, now? (to Cole) Is that it?

Cole: Leave me out of this. I have nothing to do with it.

Paige: Really? So, you want to tell us that these two strange comebacks have absolutely nothing to do with each other?

Cole: Absolutely.

Paige: Rubbish! 

(Suddenly a group of fifty demons shimmers in.)

Demon#1: We're back.

(The demons shimmer out.)

Commercial break

[Scene: Manor. Parlor. Phoebe, Cole and Leo are standing there. Piper and Paige are sitting there.]

Piper: Paige!

Paige: Sorry. Had to tempt it, had I?

Piper: Okay. someone call Agent Murphy, please. He won't be pleased but  at least he should be informed.

Phoebe: He won't care.

Piper: But of course he will. Why not? What do you know what I don't?

Paige: Murphy resigned three months ago. Guess, he's seen enough.

Phoebe: He is very sensible. Should know what else is outside there.

Piper: Yes, now. Well, we have to inform someone. Someone who knows of us and knows how to handle something like this. Someone like Darryl.

Phoebe: Too bad he's not here any more.

Leo: Well he's definitely seen enough.

Piper: Yeah, it was too much especially to his family.

Paige: You know what? We yet can call him. He can pass the info as an anonymous tip.

Phoebe: I'll do it. (She leaves to go for the phone.)

Piper: And we look at the Book. See if we can find anything in there that's makes us able to send them all back again.

(Piper and Paige get up.)

Cole: Don't bother, you won't.

Paige: Ah, you finally want to tell us your little secret?

Cole: It's not a secret. I had good connections.

(Phoebe enters: She's on the phone, talking to Darryl.)

[Cut to New York. Police staion house. Darry's offce. Darryl's sitting there, on the phone talking to Phoebe.]

Darryl: Excuse me, what?!

[Cut to Phoebe]

Phoebe: Yeah, Darryl. Fifty demons anywhere in San Francisco. Thry just left. Thought we better inform someone who knows how to deal with it. Maybe you could inform your colleagues here, you know as an anonymous tip.

Darryl: And waht do you want me to tell them?

Phoebe: I don't know. Think of something. Just tell them that there will be lots of trouble and possibly even destruction in San Francisco. We're onto it and try to prevent the worst. Bye. (She hangs up.)

[Cut to Darryl]

Darryl: Even here you're not save from it. He picks up the phoen again and starts to dial.)

[Cut to Phoebe]

Piper: (to Cole) You were saying?

Cole: Well, someone introduced me to some guy who has the power to open a portal to this world.

Paige: (unbelievingly) Some guy?

Cole: Alright, a demon guy.

Phoebe: And what did you have to do?

Cole: We played poker.

Phoebe: You played poker? Crazy...

Leo: Who was that demon guy?

Cole: I don't know I've never seen him before and he didn't tell me his name.

Paige: Why should he?

Piper: It's getting better and better. And why did about fifty demons we banished long ago  re-appeared just now?

Leo: All those  demons had been banished to hell so, that guy must have expanded his game upon hell.

Piper: Well, then let's drop in there. (Cole chuckles.) What?

Leo: You can't just drop in there, Piper. If you fall into the fires you'll never get out again.

Piper: So, how else can we check whether this guy's reall having some poker rounds with demons down there?

Leo: I've been there before I know my way around there. I'll go with you.

Piper: No, that's too dangerous for you. You haven't gt any powers to protect you in case of danger.

Cole: (spitefully) (to Leo) You haven't?

(Leo crossily looks at him.)

Leo: Piper, you know I hate that...

Piper: We had this cinversation before, Leo. You stay here. End of discussion.

Cole: I could guide you. I know my way around there,too.

Paige: Oh, I believe you do.

Cole: Well, the whole terrible state's my fault, right?

Piper: That about sums it up.

Cole: I let you in for it; So, let me make up for it.

Paige: Why should we trust you?

Cole: Because you haven't much of a choice.

Piper: He's right. We have to take the risk. Come on, girls.

(Piper and Phoebe take Paige's hands.)

Phoebe: (to Cole) See you in hell.

Cole smiles. The girls orb out.)

Leo: I warn you, Cole.

Cole: You'd do good to trust me, Leo. (He shimmers out.)

[Scene: Hell. Abyss. Piper, Phoebe, Paige and Cole are standing there. Paige looks down into the fires.]

Paige: Quite deep.

Cole: Just looks like.

Piper: So, where is this demon guy and his poker round?

Cole: Exactly below us.

Phoebe: Wait, by saying below us you mean you want us to jump down there, do you?

Piper: (to Cole) You're nuts!

Cole: No, but in that way. Look, below us there's a cavity in the rock. I assume they're hiding there.

Paige: And how do we get in there?

Cole: Funny that   you ask. Jump.

Phoebe: You're crazy. We're not gonna jump down there.

Cole: Jump and then orb onto the cavity. See you there. (He shimmers out.)

Paige: I hate that guy.

Piper: Remind me feeling bad because I trusted Cole twice.

Phoebe: Me, too.

Paige: Well, good that at least one of us doesn't.

Piper: Paige, we rely on you.

Paige: Yeah, shout when you see the cavity. Okay, shall we?

Phoebe: On three. One...

Piper: Two...

Paige: Three!

(They jump and fall, then they see the cavity.)

Piper: (shouts) Paige!

(They orb onto the cavity. Cole's waiting for them there.)

Cole: You took a long time. You shouldn't worry so much.

Paige: The reason why's standing right in front of us.

Piper: We've always been worried about you, Cole. Why stop it, now?

Cole: Come on, let's go. Be quiet.

(He points at the cave before them. They start walking.)

Cole: There's a fork  coming soon.  We gotta turn right then. (The fork comes. They turn right. They walk on and enter the cave: There's a large poker table standing with six dmons sitting around it. A bewritten rag is hanging on the wall.) (reads aloud) "Poker Championships". So he's passed on to tournaments.

Piper: Which guy is yours?

Cole: Third one of right.

Piper sees the guy Cole means.)

Piper: A sorcerer?!

Cole: Shh! Do you want them to hear you? You'd stay here forever. Besides, I promised Leo that nothing will harm you. 

Piper: Ah, you're playing one pf the good guys again.

Cole: I'm not playing. I am one of the good guys again.

Piper: You've never been.

Paige: Er... guys why's he having tournaments, now? He's just sent fifty demons out.

Cole: He's sorting, now which is actually good for you.

Piper: Only sending the elite to us is good?

Cole: It's good because it offers you more time.

Phoebe: But why has sent fifty demons out before? It  doesn't make sense.

Cole: Yes, it does. He knew they'd show up at the Manor. He wanted to us make you uncertain what he actually made.

Phoebe: And what about those over there? (She points at a ,ong queue of demons standing close to the poker table.)

Cole: Looks like more candidates.

Paige: And what about the ones who lose? (Suddenly the guys on the table stand up. One demon cheering. The sorcerer shakes hands with him and telecinetically sends him out. Another demon's complaining hard and loudly. The sorcerer telecinetically throws him out past Piper, Phoebe; Paige and Cole into the fires. The other losers queue up at the end of the queue.) Well, now the question what happens to bad losers is answered, too.

Piper: Waht did you expect? He has to sort out somehow. I'm wondereing what his reward is.

Phoebe: (to Cole) What did he charge from you? 

Cole: Nothing.

Paige: But he probably gets anything out of it. I mean, he doesn't do it for nothing, does he?

Cole: Well, I guess himself will get out of here if he gets enough demons out.

Phoebe: But who's he working for? Didn't we get San Francisco demon-free last year?

Piper: You do know there're always some who slip through and move up.

Paige: So, you think there's a new council of evil?

Piper: Could be. They're very quick in such matters.

Phoebe: Let's go home and tell Loe everthing first before doing anything else.

Piper: Yes. He'll be very pleased to hear that.

(They orb out. Cole shimmers out.)

[Scene: Manor. Parlor. Leo's sitting there, flipping through the Book of Shadows. Piper; Phoebe and Paige orb in. Cole shimmers in.]

Leo: There's nothing about such a guy in the Book.

Piper: It couldn't. It's a sorcerer.

Leo: A sorcerer?

Phoebe: Yes. He's having poker rounds. He sorts demons out and sents the elite to us.

Leo: Another one dropped in as you was gone.

Piper: Yes, we know. We watched him winning the round.
